Event details

This interactive expert workshop emerges from work pursued jointly between Argentina and Edinburgh over the last four years. Its aims are to:

  • Explore the evolving regulatory state of affairs for regenerative medicine and cellular therapies in Argentina
  • Report on the GET: Social Values project’s empirical findings regarding stated objectives for regulation in this field by Argentina stakeholders
  • Draw on the experience of the UK and Europe more generally with a view to formulating recommendations for proceeding in Argentina
  • Offer participants an opportunity to reflect on the robustness of UK and EU regulatory mechanisms.

The first day will focus on the presentation of evidence and questions relating thereto. The second day will consist of open discussions revolving around some key questions currently under debate in Argentina.
