Event details

An informal conversation with playwright Peter Arnott.

Participants are invited to meet and talk to Peter, and invited guests, about the source material and quotations he is discovering over the course of his residency at the ESRC Genomics Forum, in partnership with the Traverse Theatre.

This FREE event kicks off at 4pm at the Traverse Bar Café.

About Peter's ResidencyIn April, Peter embarked on the exciting year-long project as the ESRC Genomics Forum's Resident Playwright for 2011. Appointed in partnership with the Traverse Theatre, Peter is the first playwright to be based within the Forum. As Peter explores the subject of genomics, which covers areas as diverse as DNA profiling, identity politics, plant and animal genetics, personalised medicine, stem cell research and synthetic biology he will be hosting a number of creative engagements and developing ideas for a genomics related play.

Keep up to date with Peter's work and thoughts through his regular postings on Genotype - the Genomics Forum blog.
