Free public event as part of the Edinburgh Science Festival
We will be toasting poetry and science with a series of readings.
Our ESRC Genomics Forum Poetry Competition held in partnership with the Scottish Poetry Library received over 230 entries from across the UK, America, New Zealand, the Cook Islands, Uganda and India, from writers inspired to consider how work in the field of genomics, including DNA profiling, personalised medicine and stem cell research, is helping society by `improving the human`.
This evening event offers you the chance to meet and chat with some of our competition winners and enjoy their poetry.
