IntroductionPublic invited to plenary meeting of Human Genetics Commission.
The Human Genetics Commission is to hold its next plenary meeting in Exeter next month. The session, which is open to the public, will be held at the Thistle Hotel in Queen Street on 16 December, starting at 10.00am. The meeting will end with lunch at 1.00pm.
As well as other areas of work, the commission will be discussing clinicians’ duty of confidentiality with regard to genetic information, genetic testing for human provenance, and the Government’s response to the recent House of Lords Science and Technology Committee report on Genomic Medicine. A full agenda and papers will be available on the day.
