This free screening of the Kenneth Branagh-directed version of Frankenstein, starring Robert De Niro, Helena Bonham Carter and Branagh himself, will be followed by an audience discussion. Egenis Senior Lecturer Sabina Leonelli and University of Exeter Professor of English Regenia Gagnier will start off a debate about the issues raised by the film, including the boundaries of science and what it means to be human. The debate will be chaired by Professor Steve Hughes, Co-director of Egenis.
