Background

The Research Desktop is a Web 2.0 cloud application developed in Cesagen at Lancaster University as part of a broader dedication to creating accessible digital methods and tool for researchers, policy-makers and civil society. The Research Desktop is a set of iGoogle-like gadgets that can be used to search across multiple web sources using sophisticated keyword combinations. These can then be saved, visualised and exported as keyword lists and feeds.
