Dignity: A Tale of Two Wards

Dr. Win Tadd and team celebrate the offical launch of the DVD they produced from their Dignity in Practice project.

Story

Monday 12th November saw the official launch of Dignity: A Tale of Two Wards, a new educational DVD funded by the National Institute for Health Research Service Delivery Organisation (NIHR-SDO) and managed by the Department of Health and Comic Relief under the PANICOA initiative, aimed at healthcare professionals across England and Wales.

Developed by a team from the ESRC Centre for the Economic and Social Aspects of Genomics (Cesagen), led by Dr. Win Tadd, the DVD uses dramatic portrayal of examples of good and poor care observed on hospital wards during a key piece of research, which resulted in their Dignity in Practice report.

Since the launch last week, Dr. Tadd has been inundated with requests for copies of the DVD from organisations across the globe.
