IntroductionCesagen researchers welcomed visitors to their open day in Cardiff.
Cardiff based Cesagen researchers held and open day to engage with their academic colleagues from across the Cardiff University and to encourage them to explore their research. This is part of the centre's strategy to engage with research audiences and to explore potential collaboration and future funding opportunities.
Their exhibition presented research, in a tangible way, on topics such as whole genome sequencing, sex selection, direct to consumer genetic testing, nutrigenomics and psychiatric genetics.
Director of the centre Ruth Chadwick said, "The day was a great success. We got to engage with people who haven’t approached the centre before".
